Project monitoring week 1

In my sessions this week I changed the order of my schedule so that I was creating my article 3 layout before I began to write the article. I was testing the layout of my article so I could have a rough idea of how to set out the page. I was not sure how I wanted it to look exactly so it took some experimentation until I found a style that I was fond of. I then changed the layout again as I changed my mind after looking at other magazine products. This slowed down my production and set my schedule back slightly as it ran into extra sessions. This meant my article writing did not start until the later sessions in the week meaning that at this moment the article is not finished and ready to place into my layout. This however can be kept on top of as I will complete my homework tasks over the weekend in order to complete the article ready to put into my layout next week. I was also able to complete the titles of my article within photoshop and place them into my article so I know what space is going to be free to place my article in on the pages.

The problems I encountered this week will be managed as once I come onto my editing week later in the schedule I will be able to move the layout around if I do not think it is pleasing me. I will be using some of the the first session in the next week to place my article into my layout firstly so that I have an idea of what it is going to look like. I will likely move some parts of the project around at this point but it will be rough as I want to move on in my project to keep to the schedule. This will allow me to keep on-top of the schedule next week and still allow me to work on my third article once I come to the editing week as I can finalise the project at this point knowing what to add or take off the pages.

This makes my schedule slightly behind which is a negative however I know with adding my homework tasks to the work I am going to be able to keep up to date with my project meaning none of the other production should suffer due to the changes in my first week of creation.
